Grills and Sizzles

I love steaks! But a steak dinner can be expensive. In Quezon City, there is a cozy steakhouse called Grills and Sizzles. They serve good steaks at reasonable prices. I especially like their porterhouse steak served with brandy peppercorn sauce. During Lent, I go for their Grilled Tuna Belly or the Grilled Salmon and wash it down with Iced Tea or Lemonade (with free refills!). Service is good. The place is small, cozy and clean with ample parking space.
Grills and Sizzles isn't the best steakhouse but with it's good food and reasonable prices, it's a good place to enjoy a steak dinner.

The Amazing P100

It all started as a joke. Whenever my siblings ask me to shell out some cash whenever they order out, I usually give P100. It was meant as a joke but from that time on, whenever they want to order out, they would call my share "The Amazing 100"!When I started buying my lunch, I decided to limit my lunchtime expenses to P100. I found myself getting creative with my orders. I try to get as much as I can for P100. It's fun in a way. I get to save money and eat a... fair to good meal at the same time.
But the fun had to end. It's not that it's impossible these days to get a good lunch for P100. A lot of fastfood outlets have been coming up with "combo" meals for less than P100. Why think of a good combination when everything is already laid out in the menu?
